Kris Hall, Ash Clarke, Jonny Squire and Dan Turner have added to and improved the small bouldering area located around Grange Campsite and Dalt Wood, at the southern end of Derwent Water.
There is a small outcrop, about 8m high, just outside the campsite. While much of the bouldering is found in the woods opposite the entrance to the first camping field. The rock is generally quality and rough, but can be mossy where unbrushed. The Dalt Wood Boulder and Roof are a little further down the track on the right after a small footbridge. From here to get to the roof head straight up the hill through the wood keeping the beck on your right.
Highlights include; Arête in the Woods (6B+), Chase The Ace (6C+), Powersurge (7B) and Hall of Shame (7C+).
