Finally got some weekend weather just about worth a jaunt up to Harter Fell’s Harter Gold Boulders and managed one of the better remaining projects at the existing sectors.
Located on the Starshot Boulder, Starburst (7C+/8A) starts up the sitter to Starshot but following the first few burley moves swings right right across the face (great moves!) into Conamara Chaos, before finishing up this.
I’ve tried this in the past but never quite had the oomph to link it altogether. For me it connects all the best climbing on the block – it’s big, proud and one of the best harder problems on the Lakeland tops.
