Rightly or wrongly everyone is flocking to the seaside. Whilst cramming yourself like a sardine on to a crowded beach is totally unacceptable, heading to St. Bees Head to boulder (socially distant obviously) is a much more reasonable way to spend your time. If you do, why not check out this new seafront attraction, located on the Harcombe Boulder at St. Bees South (map)?
Master of Calm, is a saucy new 7C+ probable sandbag (read on) from Aidan Roberts and Beastmaker’s Dan Varian. As they say, “it links a 6C+ into a 7A, how hard can it be?” Pretty hard I’m guessing, as Aidan has apparently climbed 8Bs faster. If you fancy a punt it starts sitting at the hole of The Ranger, and comes left to the pocket and then up and left to the lip (eliminating the high jugs on the 6C+) to properly join Porpoise.
