I’ve added a few new problems to the collection of large boulders below Kern Knotts in upper Wasdale. I’ll write these up in full at some point, but in the mean time I’ll leave you with this, King of the Hill, a really cool new prow and the best of the bunch. It is located by the track just before you reach the base of the crag.
I free-shifted (sans jimmy/crowbars) a massive block from the base of this to open up the sitter. Never fails to amaze me what you can move with a bit of cunning and some elbow grease. So satisfying.
